PVC

Siccet cables in PVC provide flexibility, high chemical, flame, abrasion resistance in the temperature range -30 ÷ 105 °C and are used for industrial applications such as multiple extension cables in the petroleum refining industry.

Siccet uses various types of PVC compounds:

• PVC R2 CEI 20-11: used for cable insulation where the conductor is particularly flexible and has good mechanical characteristics.
  Working temperature:
  • For fixed installation: -30°C +80°C
  • For mobile applications: +5°C +80°C
  
  
• PVC R3 CEI 20-11: Resistant to temperatures up to 105°C and has good mechanical and electrical characteristics
• PVC resistant to low T: Used for the coating and insulation of special cables suitable for mobile applications from -20 to + 70 ° C.
• PVC resistant to oils: special compound used as a coating for special cables in contact with oils and hydrocarbons
• PVC with a low halogen content: used for sheathing abrasion resistant cables and where a low halogen emission is required.
