Siccet cross-linked polyethylene coated cables can be applied in the temperature range -50÷70 °C (90 °C after cross-linkage). XLPE is mainly used as insulation due to its electrical and mechanical properties. It is halogen-free, and is often the primary insulation for LS0H cables.
