Fiberglass insulation - fiberglass inner braid - tin plated copper braided armour (DIN colour code)

APPLICATION
High temperature and/or fire resistance

CONSTRUCTION
- Reference standard: DIN 43714
- Conductor: solid or stranded
- Insulation: braided fiberglass type “E” or “R/S” (lapped fiberglass version also available)
- Core laying – up: twisted conductors with fiberglass filler
- Inner layer: braided fiberglass type “E” or “R/S”
- Impregnation: liquid silicone resin or varnish
- Outer armour: tin plated copper wire braid
- Working temperature: + 400°C type “E” , + 650°C type “R/S” (HT)
- Insulation resistance: > 20 Mohm x km (measured at 1000 Volt dc @ 20 °C)
