Siccet produces PFA cables, specifically engineered for continuous operation in environments with temperatures ranging from -200°C to 260°C.
These cables are commonly used in oil wells, sensors in chemical plants, and other applications that require excellent temperature resistance.
PFA (Perfluoroalkoxy) is a semi-crystalline, fully fluorinated polymer that offers not only superior temperature resistance but also excellent flame retardancy, extreme repellency to water and oil, and exceptional chemical resistance. It provides superior electrical insulation properties and is thermally processable, making it ideal for extruded insulation.
Compared to PTFE, PFA offers better resistance to permeation, making it a cost-effective solution for cables that need to withstand temperatures up to 260°C.
